Purpose:
Dense medium beneficiation of coal and anthracite with a particle size range from 0.5 (0.2) to 40 mm, producing two final products: concentrate and tailings.
Main Advantages:
- Capability to beneficiate fine coal and anthracite with difficult and very difficult washability characteristics;
- Possibility of reprocessing the middlings from jigging machines of fine size fractions, as well as crushed middlings from jigging machines or dense medium separators used for coarse coal beneficiation;
- Production of high-purity concentrates when separating fine coal or anthracite at low cut densities;
- Simple dense medium circuit layout;
- Low energy consumption and reduced material intensity.
