Classification Hydrocyclones GC-Type
Purpose:
- Particle size classification of ground metallic and non-metallic ores at mineral processing plants;
- May also be used for thickening, dewatering, and desliming of various beneficiation products, as well as clarification of process and wastewater.
To increase capacity, hydrocyclones can be assembled into batteries of four, six, eight, or more units. A hydrocyclone battery features a common feed distribution system and devices for collection and discharge of classification products.
Distinctive Features:
- Hydrocyclone bodies manufactured from structural steel;
- Depending on the properties of the processed material, hydrocyclones may be lined with wear-resistant polyurethane or a composite material based on modified epoxy resin with corundum grains;
- The apex (spigot) nozzles and vortex finder (overflow outlet) are made of monolithic polycrystalline silicon carbide (MPSC).
Applications:
Coal processing, mining and mineral processing industries.
